My research spans consumer cognition, information processing, trust, and relational capital. That foundation, applied across more than a dozen industry contexts, now shapes two active threads: trust and trustworthiness in AI and consumer technologies, and patient compliance and medication intervention design. The AI work extends my foundational research on trustworthiness toward a healthcare-specific constitutional layer for AI and a metric for multi-faceted AI trustworthiness.
My publications have appeared in the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Marketing Research, the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and the Academy of Management Journal, among others. Work on patient adherence and digital health appears in Pharmacy and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
This site collects research, preprints, working papers, and trade writing in one place. I also write for Patient Trust Matters at Psychology Today, Trust and Traction on Substack, and on patient compliance and adherence at the Sensal Health blog.
